Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation:
o Architect and deploy ISIM/ISAM solutions to meet
organizational requirements.
o Configure and maintain IAM systems in alignment
with security policies and compliance standards.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather
requirements and develop effective IAM strategies.
Administration and Support:
o Oversee and troubleshoot issues within
ISIM/ISAM environments, including user
provisioning, de-provisioning, and role
management.
o Execute routine system updates, patches, and
upgrades to ensure optimal performance and
security.
o Monitor system performance and resolve access
management and authentication issues.
Security and Compliance:
o Ensure IAM solutions adhere to security policies,
regulatory requirements, and industry best
practices.
o Conduct regular audits and reviews of access
controls and user permissions.
o Implement and manage multi-factor
authentication (MFA) and other security measures
to enhance system protection.
Documentation and Training:
o Develop and maintain comprehensive
documentation for IAM processes, configurations,
and procedures.
o Provide training and support to end-users and IT
staff on ISIM/ISAM functionalities and best
practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
o Partner with IT teams, security personnel, and
business units to integrate IAM solutions with
other systems and applications.
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders to
address IAM-related issues and deliver solutions.
Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified
Specialist) are advantageous.
Experience:
o Proven experience with IBM Security Identity
Manager (ISIM) and IBM Security Access Manager
(ISAM).
o Practical experience with IAM technologies,
including user provisioning, role-based access
control, and single sign-on (SSO).
o Proficiency in supporting WebSeal, TDS, DB2, and
WebSphere.
o Experience with the installation, configuration, and
setup of new ISIM instances.
o Familiarity with directory management solutions
such as LDAP and Active Directory.
Technical Skills:
o Deep understanding of IAM concepts, security
protocols, and authentication mechanisms.
o Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python,
PowerShell) for automation tasks.
o Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, and other
directory services.
Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving skills with strong
attention to detail.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently as well as part of a
team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with additional IAM solutions or technologies.
Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA,
or ISO/IEC 27001.
Experience in a similar role within a large enterprise
environment.
