Job Summary
Job Description
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment. This includes repairing machinery, transfer systems, and hand tools according to diagrams and specifications. The role involves regular preventative maintenance, maintaining detailed records, setting up and operating equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. The Electrician will also maintain a clean work area, participate in safety programs, and handle hazardous materials following established procedures. They will also prepare various reports as needed.
Must have:
- High school diploma (minimum requirement)
- 1-3 years of experience in machine repair, electrical & electronic control technology
- Working knowledge of electronic test equipment
- Working knowledge of AC/AD voltage, AC/AD drives, control wiring, and PLC Controls

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Qualification
- Repairs machinery, transfer systems, hand tools, etc., in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer specifications
- Performs regular, preventative maintenance on all electrical and electronic machinery, equipment, tools, and building
- Maintains records of repair and maintenance activities
- Performs set-ups, tunes ups, and runs the equipment, and machinery around the plant
- Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures
- Maintains work area clean and organized
- Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
- Performs duties consistent with hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices
- Prepares various reports as required
- Performs other duties as required
Qualification
- Minimum high school diploma; associate's degree is preferred
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, electrical and electronic control technology
- Working knowledge of electronic test equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology
- Working knowledge of AC/AD voltage, AC/AD drives, control wiring, and PLC Controls
- Working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
