Your impact
As a Information and Cyber Security Assurance Senior Consultant, you will lead the evaluation and enhancement of technology systems and processes' integrity, reliability, and security within organisations. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth risk assessments, implementing robust control measures, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards (such as NIST, ITIL, COBIT, ISAE 3402, ISO27001 or TISAX) and providing strategic guidance to clients.
Additionally, you will oversee junior consultants, mentor team members, and contribute to the advancement of the technology assurance practice.
As a Information and Cyber Security Assurance Senior Consultant you will:
● Lead the strategic planning and execution of technology risk assessments, identifying and prioritising risks to the organisation's operations and objectives;
● Provide expertise in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations such as ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, ISAE 3402 and NIST;
● Develop and implement comprehensive control frameworks to mitigate identified risks, safeguard technology assets, and enhance operational resilience;
● Oversee audits, reviews, and testing of technology controls, ensuring adherence to audit standards, and providing recommendations for improvement;
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing clear
communication of assessment findings, recommendations, and strategic insights;
● Supervise and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to support their growth and success;
● Stay abreast of emerging technologies, threats, and industry trends, contributing to thought leadership initiatives and driving innovation within the technology assurance team.
About you
● You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Applied Economics, Commercial Science, Computer Science or related;
● You have (at least) 3 years’ experience in technology risk management, information security, or IT auditing;
● You are a tech-savvy and have a keen interest in the latest technology trends;
● You have expertise in IT governance frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements;
● You have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and solid writing skills in English, and are fluent in either Dutch or French;
● You have analytical and problem-solving abilities, a proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
● Knowledge on Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain or other complex technologies is a plus;
● Professional certifications, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, COBIT, CRISC and ITIL, are a plus.
