Job Description
This Junior 3D Character Artist position requires creating 3D character models and textures for real-time 3D game engines. The role demands a strong understanding of various art styles and the ability to adapt to project-specific needs. Proficiency in 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Softimage) and 2D design skills are essential. Responsibilities include following project schedules, meeting quality standards, conducting self-quality checks, and promptly resolving issues raised by team leads, art directors, and clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about game development and possesses a college degree in an art-related field.
Must have:
- Proficient in 3D modeling software (Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush)
- Strong 2D design and painting skills
- Understanding of real-time game engine requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Problem-solving skills and effective communication

Job Details
Responsibilities
- 制作实时3D游戏引擎中使用的3D角色的模型和贴图
- 了解各种美术风格并且能够遵循项目的具体需求
- 及时学习新的软件工具和技术
- 根据项目进度执行分配的任务，同时满足质量要求
- 在将任务作品交送于组长审查前，应先用检查表对初始作品的质量进行检查
- 解决组长，美术总监，和客户指出的问题
- 遇到任何困难时，应及时告知组长
- Produce model and texture of 3D character in real-time 3D game engine
- Understand and follow art requirements and specific needs of the project
- Promptly learn any new tools or techniques
- Execute tasks assigned to him according to project schedule while meeting quality expectations
- Using Checklist perform initial art and technical quality checks before sending art asset to the Team Leader for review
- Fix all problems noted by Producer, Team Leader, Art Director or Client
- Promptly report to Team Leader about any difficulties encountered
Qualifications
- 精通2D设计、绘画、制图等
- 熟练掌握以下3D软件 (3D Studio Max, Maya, Zbrush, Softimage等)
- 深入了解游戏，并且热衷于游戏制作
- 专科以上学历（艺术类相关专业）或艺术类相关院校毕业(包括建筑设计，工业设计，纺织/时装设计等)
- 请附上简历，三维和手绘作品
- Sound knowledge about 2D design, painting, texture, etc.
- Good command of one of the 3D software usage such as Maya, 3D Max, Softimage, and Zbrush
- Passionate and motivated to join Game Industry
- College above in Arts or Design major including Architecture Design, Industrial design or textile design)
