Role Overview
The Legal Trainee will join the legal department supporting the Southwest Europe region. This is a trainee-level position ideal for law students or recent graduates seeking their first professional role in a legal environment. The position is highly administrative in nature and offers hands-on experience in corporate legal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Management: Maintain and organize all legal files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
- Notarization & Registration: Coordinate the notarization and official registration of legal documents, and ensure timely sharing with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- System Updates: Update legal systems and internal databases to reflect the current status of documentation and contracts.
- Signature Collection: Manage the collection of signatures from directors and other authorized representatives for legal and corporate documents.
- Auditor Liaison: Provide necessary legal documentation (e.g., board minutes) to auditors as requested.
- Contract Review: Support the legal team by reviewing NDAs and other basic contractual agreements.
- Data Protection: Assist with compliance efforts related to data protection for legal entities in the region.
Candidate Profile
- Law student or recent graduate with an interest in corporate law or legal administration.

- Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing relationships, building rapport, and driving alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Teamwork & Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues across different departments to meet shared goals.
- Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain accurate legal records and documentation, ensuring precision and consistency across all administrative tasks. Skilled in organizing files, tracking deadlines, and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Willingness to Learn: Strong motivation to grow professionally, with an eagerness to acquire new legal knowledge and adapt to evolving responsibilities. Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Languages: mandatory Spanish and English (both written and spoken). French is considered a plus.
Additional Information
- Contract Type: 1-year contract (Full-time or part-time depending on candidate availability and suitability).
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 or 3 days per week in the office.
