Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager will be onsite to support the Lottery to develop, establish, and maintain strategic plans that will increase revenue for our company and the Lottery through increased sales. This position reports to the General Manager and site team to support all marketing functions needed. Collaborate with Corporate Strategic Marketing team to come up with new revenue generating solutions to present to the Lottery’s management for draw and instant games. Constant analysis of sales and marketing support to assist the Lottery to evaluate, communicate, and implement market conditions, customer research, and industry data to suggest changes to the marketing plan to enhance sales and revenue.
Job Functions:
Develops and executes marketing and communication plans and programs that are complimentary to the Lottery’s marketing strategies, including new game launches and game promotions for both long and short term goals.
Recommend solutions for declining game performance through promotions, enhancements, replacement or retirement of the game.
Monitor and analyze game sales trends and activities and provide recommendations on data.
Coordinate marketing research and focus group efforts between the Lottery and SGI Corporate Insights team.
Create and maintain a marketing budget that seeks effective sales and revenue objectives.
Provide support to the Systems team for testing and operational support.
Assist Corporate Strategic Marketing team with special projects up to, but not limited to, RFP responses, sales analyses, promotional data, Lottery conversions/implementations.
Develop/purchase all retailer’s signage and promotional materials for the lottery
Work with other departments including SGEP in support of site sales and support goals.
Travel as needed.
Other duties as assigned
Coordinate and report all marketing strategies to Director of Marketing as a dotted line management source.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing/advertising or equivalent of 5 year experience within the field. Experience with advertising agencies, promotion vendor and printing suppliers
Skills/Abilities:
Detail oriented
Ability to communication both written and orally with all levels of management (Bilingual)
Ability to maintain a positive team environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to multitask
Education
Bachelors degree in related field.
