Seeking an experienced professional to support validation for Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk. The candidate should have capital markets experience, ideally in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives. This role involves working with an established client team from project initiation to implementation. Responsibilities include resolving daily Front Office issues related to functional aspects, valuation, and pricing, specifically for the Equity Derivatives desk. You will work closely with traders, amend pre-trade rules, eTradePad, and simulations. Additional duties involve resolving P&L, Market Data, and booking issues, analyzing and proposing solutions for PROD Support deliverables, liaising with technical teams for issue resolution and enhancements, managing project tasks, and handling yield curve issues and new market regulations. Testing and participation in release cycles are also key aspects of the role.
Must have:
  • Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM
  • Strong understanding of P&L
  • Hands-on experience with Livebook, Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
  • Strong experience supporting FO users
  • 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities
  • 4+ years experience in financial markets
  • SQL proficiency
  • Strong personality, logical and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, quick learner, self-starter
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills

Responsibilities

Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing

Resolve daily issues stemming from FO Equity Derivatives desk (must)

bullet icon

Work closely and address issues from EQD Desk Traders (L3)

bullet icon

Amend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations

bullet icon

Resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues

bullet icon

Analyze, formulate, proposed, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables

Liaise with technical team(s) -

to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements

Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables

Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation

Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally

Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

When required, develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along
