Responsibilities
* Design, build, and deploy high-performance backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and related technologies. * Produce clean, efficient, testable code based on specifications even in rapid dynamic environment
* Write effective unit tests for the functionality implemented
* Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing modules
* Own the entire development lifecycle including requirement refinement, coding, code reviews to monitoring production systems
* Provide elegant, scalabe tech solutions that support business requirement as well as NFRs
* Work with peer developers, QA, product managers, scrum masters in an Agile environment
* Mentoring team members, providing technical guidance, and encouraging continuous learning.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
* Building code and testing frameworks / standards that can be used across org
* Lead technical initiatives, drive architectural best practices
* Defining and upholding the engineering best practices across the tech stack
Qualification
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Applications
* 8+ years of work experience in delivering and leading technical projects and teams.
* Strong hands-on Experience in NodeJS, TypeScript, Jest/mocha (or similar), cloud services, building scalable, secure APIs, building scalable and high availability systems
* Experience with development tools like git, Jenkins, Sonar, copilot
* Good to have experience in Java, Spring boot, Python
* Good to have experience working with third party APIs. Preferably payment systems
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills
* Experience in mentoring developers and build frameworks on which other developers can build on
