Position: Onboarding Specialist

Shift Timings:

  • 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST
  • 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Two Saturdays a month will be full working days
  • Location: Ahmedabad
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Salary Range: ₹23,000 to ₹30,000 per month

Job Overview:

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be the key point of contact ensuring that every new hire starts their journey with us on the right foot. You’ll manage the end-to-end onboarding process, working with both new employees and internal stakeholders to provide a seamless and engaging onboarding experience. If you're passionate about welcoming new talent and creating a positive first impression, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome New Hires: Guide new employees from the moment they accept the offer, providing an engaging onboarding experience.
  • Onboarding Management: Manage the entire onboarding process, from equipment handover to ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Policy Creation: Develop and maintain clear policies, employee handbooks, and communication plans that explain company operations and culture.
  • Effective Communication: Send onboarding materials, company information, and logistical details (such as dress code and perks) to new employees.
  • Process Improvements: Continuously look for ways to improve the onboarding process and drive efficiency.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure all onboarding processes comply with company policies, while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively challenge the status quo, identifying and implementing improvements to streamline the onboarding experience.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp and explain basic technical concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn).
  • A collaborative attitude with a “can do” mindset.
  • Fluency in English communication is required.
