The Order Processing Executive role at LSEG involves supporting the Global Sales team by assisting with tasks like locating existing terms and invoices, managing opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring completion of deal intake forms, and processing contracts. Responsibilities also include contract signing, Salesforce data population, training the Global Sales Team, providing management reporting, and acting as verification for sales pipelines and numbers. The candidate should have around 1-2 years of experience in sales operations and using Salesforce. The job requires collaboration with other departments such as sales and finance. This role is a key support function within LSEG's sales operations, ensuring smooth execution of the sales process and delivery of value to clients. The job is in support of FTSE Russell also known as ISD Middle Office, which supports the Global Sales team and is crucial for providing the best possible service.

Job Details

Sales Operations – FTSE Russell also known as ISD Middle Office is a middle office function which supports the Global Sales team in successfully executing the sales process. The Global Sales team comprises of 150+ Salespeople in 13 countries worldwide.  The Global Sales Operations team comprises of 28 members based in London, Buffalo, New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, Colombo, Manila, and Italy. Moreover, The Global Sales Team is the key face of the business, and it is imperative that we provide adequate support for them to provide best possible service and deliver value to our clients. In addition, Sales Operations work closely with other stakeholders across the business including Finance, Credit Control, Legal & Product Development team. The primary scope of the operations is to provide the best possible information and support to the Global Sales team in a timely manner.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support Global Sales teams with location of existing terms, invoices etc..
  • Opportunity Management - Monitor Salesforce stages and ensure that for the life cycle of the opportunity remains updated.
  • Ensure successful completion of the Deal Intake Form and any supplementary documents
  • Contract Processing - Reconcile all final contracts with data inputted into Salesforce and work with Global Sales Teams to make any corrections
  • Contract Signing and dissemination to clients - Utilise the DocuSign tool to complete signatory, return signed agreements to clients and provide Welcome Form/Client Self-Service logins/
  • Full population of new deal in Salesforce - Ensure all Salesforce Objects are full populated; including Account, Contracts, Subscriptions &Commission. Ensure all SpringCM records are updated and folders are accurate.
  • Provide refresher training to Global Sales Team on Sales Completion Process as and when vital.
  • Management Reporting - Reporting to the Middle Office Senior Manager on key role activities.
  • Act as verifications for regional Sales Pipelines and Sales Numbers

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Management, Sales, Marketing
  • Applicant should have around 1 -2 years of relevant business experience, preferably in Sales, or Sales Operations.
  • Applicant must have experience in using Salesforce.com CRM system
  • Must be able to work well within a team and communicate optimally to share their findings with others. Often this means sending detailed emails citing data points and sales results, but also includes presenting to groups of people from time to time and persuading executives when they believe certain issues should be prioritised
  • Understanding of the importance of Data and data quality
  • A driven self-starter with a can do attitude who can work collaboratively for the greater good of the sales function and the business as a whole
  • Collaboration with other departments is key in this role, specifically Sales and Finance
  • Strong analytical skills utilising Excel to gain insights to provide strategic recommendations
