Our client, a Video Game Studio, is seeking a Principal Technical Product Manager to join its team!
As a Principal Technical Product Manager you will combine deep experiences with product leadership capabilities to provide players with essential features and supporting systems. As the TPM for Core Integrations in Global Player Support, you will be responsible for setting the direction and vision for our core platform technologies that powers our global support platform. You will work with other product leaders within our support organization to understand the current and future needs of the organization, and work collaboratively to develop a roadmap to get us there. You will partner with our game teams to define and evolve our integration strategy, ensuring we have the capabilities we need to build world-class support experiences for our players. You will report to a Senior Manager of Software Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive a vision, strategy and roadmap for Global Player Support’s Core Integration team to meet the current and future goals of the organization
- Manage all customer and partner relationships including game and platform teams that will integrate with Global Player Support platform
- Manage the product team backlog, create a product roadmap, foster a culture of improvement, and facilitate development practices for the team
- Actively manage project scope as a result of customer and partner communications and ensure the product team is aligned with objectives
- Review and develop service-level agreements and goals with all core customers
- Partner and collaborate with Engineering Management, Technical, Design, and Quality leads within the Global Player Support organization to align on the product and technical plan the team executes on
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience
- Excellent teamwork, team leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
- Understanding of distributed systems, and service to service communication patterns
- Hands-on experience leading agile (scrum) teams
- Experience working collaboratively on a cross-discipline team
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with API Gateway technologies
- Knowledge of REST and GraphQL Services
- Experience with CRM systems (Zendesk, Salesforce, etc)
