Team, about the role

Our flagship products are currently in a new phase of visual quality development. We're looking for a talented, experienced, and skilled Principal VFX Artist to help us achieve this as efficiently as possible while maintaining our leadership position in casual gaming.

Collaborating directly with the Producer and Art Director, you'll tackle complex tasks related to improving the overall quality of effects in our products. You'll be working alongside leading gaming industry professionals and implementing artistic, creative, and technical innovations in games with an audience in the multi-millions.

Tasks

  • Bringing more life and excitement to the game through design and use of visual effects and animation
  • Redesigning and improving match-3 effects, UI, isometry, and in-game events
  • Mentoring other VFX Artists and Animators and leading by example
  • Coordinating with Art, Design, and Animation teams to ensure the VFX match quality targets the vision for the game
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our VFX pipeline and tools
  • Collaborating with other departments to reach levels of visual quality that are simply explosive

Requirements

  • Portfolio and 4+ years of professional experience as an effects artist or animator, preferably in mobile projects
  • Skills in creating effects in Unity, Unreal, and our proprietary game engines, as well as their implementation in our products
  • Expert skills in working with graphic editors
  • Good sense for dynamics, shape, color, and composition
  • Ability to work with attention management and flow in games
  • Experience with shaders
  • Fluency in Russian
