We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

We are looking for a passionate and driven Product Manager to join the Google Chat Experience team! Chat is a core application within Google Workspace, used by millions of people around the world to connect, collaborate, and get work done.

In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of Chat, focusing on core user needs and innovative AI-powered experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and advocate the product goal, strategy, and roadmap for core Chat features and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered experiences, ensuring alignment with the overall Google Workspace strategy.
  • Understand user needs and pain points through user research, data analysis, and market research.
  • Translate user needs into detailed product specifications and use cases. Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most impactful features.
  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, researchers, and marketers to bring product to life.
  • Launch and iterate on new products and features, analyzing their performance and making data-driven decisions to optimize user experience.
