Job Description

ByteDance is seeking multiple Product Managers to work on innovative, international, and multi-language content user-facing technology products. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, contributing strategically to product development, identifying product opportunities and solutions, defining data metrics, and serving as a liaison between engineering and business teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end product management, user research and testing, managing user feedback, building dashboards, presenting to stakeholders, and defining product roadmaps and KPIs.

Responsibilities Work with global cross-functional engineering and business teams across full product development and deployment project lifecycle to build innovative, international, and multi-language content user-facing technology products, services, or features by incorporating data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational goals. Provide strategic contribution to development and execution of products that leverage and enhance our products' unique features by working with Engineering and design team from concept to launch. Assist management in identifying product opportunities, defining product problems, and solving product solutions to motivate diverse formats of content creation and consumption. Define clear and precise data metrics to best represent the business performance and adjust product strategies dynamically. Serve as a liaison between engineering and business teams and communicate complex technical and non-technical information between teams to ensure streamlined product development.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Information Management, Data Analytics or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Data Science, Information Management, Data Analytics or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's and progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Performing end-to-end product management, including coordinating cross-functional teams in product conceptualization, design, development, and deployment; Designing and conducting user testing, surveys, and interviews and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insight to influence product roadmaps; Building and managing user feedback loop, including triaging, quantifying, and prioritizing user pain points, usability issues, and feature requests to be considered by product and engineering in future developments; Building dashboards, including tables and graphs, to enable the monitoring of business performance metrics and conducting root-cause-analysis of metric movements; Interfacing directly with business leaders and stakeholders to present product/project documents, including strategy, timeline, and status documents; and Designing, maintaining, and managing product roadmaps across stakeholders including defining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and success metrics using OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $190486 - $296020 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
