About the job:
As a Program Manager for Kaggle Competitions, you will work with Third Party competition hosts to bring AI competitions to the platform. You will own the relationship with competition hosts, from problem scoping to contracting to overseeing competition launch and close. You will also collaborate with partners on the Competitions team to ensure competitions meet design requirements and satisfy broader objectives for the team. You will build relationships with critical first and third party partners and nurture a network of competition hosts and collaborators. You will also interact with the Kaggle community through site forums on behalf of Kaggle and the competition hosts.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in managing partners, third parties, or vendors
  • Experience in establishing commercial terms and agreements
Good to have:
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts or technology
  • Ability to collaborate across a diverse and distributed team
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to dive into data and extract insights

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
