Job Description

As a QA Engineer specializing in game security at Ubisoft Blue Byte, you'll collaborate with an agile team to establish and maintain efficient QA workflows. Your responsibilities encompass designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for new software features, ensuring robust functionality. You will set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimize the QA process, and take ownership of the quality and stability of new features and releases. You will serve as a subject matter expert in QA, guiding your team and project stakeholders. The role requires proficiency in Python and experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the studio's primary language is English.

Must have:

3+ years software QA or release engineering experience
Expertise in designing and automating complex integration tests
Proficiency in Python, C++ a plus
CI/CD tools experience (GitLab, Jenkins etc.)
Excellent English communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team as QA Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our game security projects. You will collaborate with an agile team of dedicated software developers to enhance our QA processes and deliver exceptional gaming experiences.

What You Will Do:

Collaborate with an agile team to establish and maintain an efficient QA workflow.
Design, implement & maintain automated tests for new software features, ensuring robust functionality.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline our development & deployment processes.
Optimize the quality assurance process and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Take ownership of the quality and stability of new features and releases.
Serve as the subject matter expert for QA, providing guidance and knowledge to your team and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software QA or release engineering.
Proven expertise in designing, setting up, and automating complex integration test cases.
Strong proficiency in Python; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitFlow, Jenkins, or similar.
Experience working in international teams is advantageous.
Excellent English communication skills; our studio language is English.
A high degree of self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to anticipate project needs and collaboratively solve technical challenges.
