Summary

This role is for a Regional Vice President of Sales (RVP) focused on the Financial Services Industry (FSI) segment in Italy. The RVP will lead a team of Sales Executives, driving strategic sales initiatives, generating revenue, and achieving quotas. Responsibilities include team development, client engagement, pipeline generation, forecasting, mentoring Account Executives, C-level engagement, GTM strategy development, and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate has strong B2B and enterprise sales management experience, particularly in selling transformational technology solutions to major Italian enterprises within the Banking and Insurance sectors. Proven success in building and inspiring high-performing teams is crucial, along with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

An opportunity exists in our Italian Enterprise Sales organisation for a sales leader looking to further their career in a hyper-growth, fast-paced and dynamic environment! We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Sales Manager who will play a key role in driving strategic, Salesforce sales initiatives with Banking and Insurance.

Role Description:
As a Sales Leader, you will play a key role leading a team of highly visible and motivated Sales Executives in our expanding Italian sales operation that generates revenue and achieves individual, team and organisational quotas. Our ‘Ohana’ Culture is a pivotal element of our success at Salesforce so your leadership will encompass strong energy, passion and the ability to lead a dynamic workforce. Ideal candidates should possess solid business-to-business (B2B) sales and prior Enterprise Sales management experience.

Your Impact:

  • Development of a growing and diverse team who are seen as trusted advisors to our customer(s) and with internal team members

  • Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required

  • Management of a high performance team, including recruiting, hiring and training

  • Build strong team unity, internal connections, and collaboration across the Salesforce eco-system

  • Leading weekly forecast meetings

  • Driving pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue generating opportunities for the customer account(s)

  • Mentor and professionally develop Account Executives regarding strategies to ensure a high level of closure rates and opportunity identification

  • Engaging at the C-level in customer organisations

  • Develop the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the team

  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Area Sales Management

  • Consistently supervising and enhancing the sales activities of the team

  • To be an enabler of an inclusive and winning team spirit


Required skills:

  • Consistent track record in building / managing high performance teams

  • Able to operate and navigate successfully in a matrix / multi-product sales environment

  • Experience selling transformational technology solutions to major Enterprise customers in Italy

  • Previous experience in solution sales (especially Software / SaaS / Cloud)

  • A level of interest in, and/or experience positioning/selling to the Financial and Insurance industry

  • Strong demonstrated and proven sales experience, working with complex customers

  • 2nd Line Management experience

  • A passion for building a growing and diverse team

  • Proven ability to create and inspire high performing teams

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally)

  • Passion for supporting team development, as well as for their own self-improvement

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • A self-starter that can excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Italian native, English fluent
