Are you interested in Transfer Pricing and specifically intercompany financial transactions and/or the financial services industry? Then become part of our team!

The Transfer Pricing team of PwC Netherlands consists of over sixty professionals and is very diverse with more than twenty nationalities. A specialist area within our team concerns financial transactions and transfer pricing issues within the financial sector. To help clients successfully address their transfer pricing challenges, we work closely together with our (foreign) colleagues from different teams within Tax and Consulting.

As senior associate Financial Transactions and Financial Services Transfer Pricing you will particularly specialize and focus on the treasury function within MNEs and clients in the financial sector (including Real Estate).

 

What will you be doing?

You will be part of the larger PwC team and work closely with colleagues with a Financial Transactions and/or Financial Services background at home and abroad. In order to gain as much knowledge as possible, you will work with different partners, managers and team members on a variety of projects in the field of treasury and financial services. Besides these client and tax technical related activities, you will also have the opportunity to participate in topics such as recruitment, marketing, digital innovations and technologies to strengthen our team and our knowledge and make our work even more fun and efficient!

As a member of the PwC Netherlands Transfer Pricing team, you will not only work together but there is also time for social activities with the team, such as a game of padel, get-togethers or the annual ski trip.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Advising clients on Financial Transactions transfer pricing and transfer pricing within the Financial Services industry. In addition to client contact, you will also have frequent contact with other teams within PwC at home and abroad;

  • Performing economic and/or legal analyses and financial modeling to support the advice;

  • Conducting interviews with clients to gain an understanding of relevant facts for providing transfer pricing advice. Consider the revenue model and the operational, financial and organizational model, how the company is financed and what the responsibilities of the treasury department are;

  • Preparing memos and reports to record analysis performed and transfer pricing models applied; and Staying up to date with new regulations and international developments regarding transfer pricing. To this end, technical meetings are organized within our team.

  • Co-managing a team of more than 20 associates and students whom you coach and to whom you delegate work;

  • Co-lead a team of more than 20 associates and work students whom you coach and to whom you delegate work;

  • Proactive client service where you oversee all aspects from technical content to clear and timely communication. This includes broader project management and contributing to account planning;

  • Contribute to thought leadership by writing articles and presenting at relevant internal and external events.

  • You have a completed university education in, for example, (tax) law or an economic, financial or business administration direction. However, we are also open to candidates who have completed another type of study at university level.
