Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Azure subscriptions, resources, and services.
• Azure DevOps Pipelines hands-on experience with Terraform modules
• Monitor Azure infrastructure for performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and maintain Azure security best practices, including access controls, network security, and data encryption.
• Deploy and configure virtual machines, virtual networks, and other Azure resources.
• Manage Azure Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and policies.
• Design and implement Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and troubleshoot Azure-based applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure-related issues.
• Stay current with Azure technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to optimize our Azure environment.
• Document Azure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Good to have Azure DR and Backup experience
• Good to have Linux administration experience
• Automate the infra with Powershell, Ansible and terraform.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent.
• Total 5 – 10 years overall experience with 3+ years of experience managing Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure services, including VMs, networking, storage, databases, and identity.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for Azure automation and management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Experience with Azure Operations with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
