Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting Technical Infrastructure's (TI) Networking team, you will be an integral finance business partner to the team that builds and operates Google's network. You will become a financial expert, trusted partner, and responsible for providing actionable insights that have a meaningful impact on the business. In this particular role, you will have a unique opportunity to work regularly with the business' leadership team. You will be deeply embedded in the business and expected to serve as a strategic thought partner (direction setter vs task taker). You will lead quarterly finance reviews and annual demand and Operational Expenditure (opex) planning with internal customers. You will also partner with business teams to diligence demand and improve utilization, lead business case reviews for technology transitions and efficiency initiatives, plan and save costs from efficiency initiatives pursued by the team, and partner with business teams to price network products and assign cost of network product.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Experience in manipulating data sets using SQL or another programming/scripting language.
Excellent communication skills.

Good to have:

Experience in network product pricing or cost assignment/cost allocation.
Experience in developing business case with both strategic and financial (NPR, IRR, Break Even) support.
Ability to influence without authority and interact with all levels, set objectives, drive results, and be a team player.
Ability to advocate, challenge business initiatives and work with cross-functional teams.

Minimum qualifications:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
