Fool's Theory is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to contribute to a project developed in partnership with CD PROJEKT RED. Responsibilities include finding, describing, and reproducing issues; debugging within the game engine; reporting issues using dedicated tools; creating test plans and QA documentation; and collaborating with other departments to resolve issues. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of game industry QA experience, at least one shipped title, and familiarity with bug tracking software (Jira, YouTrack). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and teamwork abilities are crucial. English proficiency (B2 minimum) is required. The role offers flexible working hours, remote possibilities, long-term contracts, and various perks.

About the job

We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-Biała in Poland, creators of the game Seven: The Days Long Gone and The Thaumaturge.
We are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team to work on a project developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.

Responsibilities

  • Searching for, describing and reproducing issues.
  • Working in the engine in order to debug issues.
  • Reporting issues with the use of dedicated tools.
  • Creating test plans.
  • Creating QA documentation.
  • Close cooperation with other departments in order to successfully eliminate issues.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional QA experience in the game industry.
  • At least one shipped title.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (Jira, YouTrack, etc.).
  • Experience with any game engine.
  • General knowledge regarding work of other departments in the developer studio.
  • Skills of analytical thinking and drawing conclusions, attention to details.
  • The ability to efficiently construct thoughts as well as concise and understandable description of emerging problem.
  • Regularity and self-discipline.
  • The ability to work in groups.
  • Knowledge of English, spoken and written (min. B2).

Nice to have:

  • Experience in in-house QA team.
  • Experience as a Narrative QA.
  • Intermediate or advanced experience with UE5.
  • Experience in RPG projects.
