Responsibilities

• Designs and develops applications, websites, mobile solutions, to support Stem online platforms
• Work with product management to develop solutions to real-world problems. Assist in gathering direct feedback from customers.
• Assists the Technical Support team to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Responds quickly to customer requests and work closely with Support and other groups within the company on time-sensitive issues.
• Interact with RESTful APIs to support the needs of the presentation layer
• Writing tested, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Assists with releases, QA, server maintenance, upgrades and deployment.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Ember, React, Angular)
• Experience with NodeJS and ExpressJS
• Experience with writing ES6
• Development experience utilizing C# is a plus
• Strong understanding of version control systems Git, including branching and merging strategies
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for agile Software Development
• Self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Expertise in analysis, critical decision making, and process improvement
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems
