Job Description

As the SVP of EMEA Global Delivery Services at Cognite, you will be responsible for leading professional services delivery activities across EMEA, MENA and Japan. Your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services to maximize customer value and drive growth. You will lead a high-performing regional services organization focusing on customer's digital transformation and industrial data foundation. Key responsibilities include regional services leadership, customer value realization, scaling & growth, operational & financial management, team leadership & development, and collaboration & alignment.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of professional services leadership experience.
  • Experience leading large regional or global delivery teams.
  • Experience managing P&L and delivering profitable growth.

About the role
As the SVP of EMEA Global Delivery Services at Cognite, you will be responsible for driving the success of all professional services delivery activities across EMEA, MENA and Japan. Your primary mission is to ensure the seamless delivery of our solutions and services to maximize customer value realization, drive growth and profitability, and scale our delivery capabilities to align with Cognite’s $250M revenue ambition for 2026. You will lead and inspire a high-performing regional services organization that champions our customers’ digital transformation and industrial data foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Regional Services Leadership:
    • Own the EMEA, MENA & Japan region’s end-to-end professional services delivery, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution that aligns with Cognite’s global delivery standards.
    • Drive operational excellence across project delivery, solution implementation, and customer success in the region.

    • Customer Value Realization:
    • Champion a “customer-first” approach to service delivery, ensuring our solutions drive measurable outcomes and value for customers.
    • Build and maintain trusted customer relationships as an executive sponsor, resolving escalations with empathy and urgency.
    • Scaling & Growth:
    • Partner with the Chief Services Officer and regional sales teams to identify and prioritize expansion and scale opportunities within existing customer accounts.
    • Work closely with the CBE (Customer Business Executive) organization to drive delivery excellence that unlocks expansion revenue.

    • Operational & Financial Management:
    • Drive profitability through efficient resource allocation, margin management, and project health tracking.
    • Own the P&L for EMEA services, balancing investments to scale capacity with the need to protect margins and maintain quality.
    • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional delivery team spanning technical experts, project managers, and functional leads.
    • Foster a culture of servant leadership, trust, and verification—empowering teams while ensuring accountability through data-driven decisions.

    • Collaboration & Alignment:
    • Serve as a key member of the global services leadership team, contributing to strategy development and ensuring regional alignment with global priorities.
    • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales to shape service offerings and support go-to-market success.

Key Qualifications:

    • Experience:
    • 10+ years of professional services leadership experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or industrial technology sectors.
    • Proven track record of leading large regional or global delivery teams in complex, data-centric environments.
    • Experience managing P&L and delivering profitable growth.

    • Skills:
    • Strong operational and financial acumen; able to optimize delivery operations for customer outcomes and profitability.
    • Exceptional communication and executive presence, capable of influencing across functions and cultures.
    • Deep understanding of customer value realization and experience in scaling services revenue in a global SaaS or industrial software context.

    • Mindset:
    • Passionate about empowering teams to drive customer outcomes, with a balanced approach to trust and verification.
