Meta is seeking a highly motivated and talented Silicon CAD Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a member, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative AR/MR silicon solutions.
Silicon CAD Infrastructure Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain CAD infrastructure for silicon design teams and collaborate with silicon designers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve design efficiency and productivity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAD infrastructure, including hardware and software problems
  • Participate in the development of best practices and standards for CAD infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in CAD infrastructure and silicon design, firmware and software
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
  • 1+ years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Unix Shell, TCL and SQL
  • Experience with CAD tools and methodologies, including design automation and verification
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • Experience analyzing complex problems and identifying effective solutions
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team and with cross-functional partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps tools
  • Knowledge of silicon design flows and methodologies
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and Mercurial
