Job Description
The Taleau Developer role involves understanding stakeholder requirements and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for visualization. The developer will collaborate with EAS team leads for data identification, dashboard design, and development, querying data from MongoDB and HDFS. They will perform data reshaping and light feature engineering, ensuring dashboards adhere to EAS Reporting team guidelines. Extensive quality control (QC) and testing are required, along with optimizing reports and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Must have:
- Experience with Tableau and optimizing Tableau dashboards
- SQL skills for querying data from NoSQL and Hadoop DFS
- Solid knowledge of different types of visualization
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Basic Statistics knowledge
- Good communication skills

Job Details:
- Understanding the stakeholder requirements, identifying the KPIs to be visualized
- Working with EAS team leads for data identification, design and development of dashboards
- Query relevant data from MongoDB, HDFS and perform data reshaping, light feature engineering if necessary
- Dashboard design and development needs to adhere to the guidelines and standards as set forth by the EAS Reporting team
- Performing extensive QC and testing of the dashboards as you will be working with very large data and building complex viz., implement the best hygiene principles for optimization of reports
- Coordinate with stakeholders and support team for fixing reported issues.
Skillset:
- Proven experience working with Tableau and optimizing Tableau dashboards
- (Knowledge on Tableau Prep is good but not necessary)
- SQL: Query relevant data from NoSQL and Hadoop DFS (advanced skills aren't required)
- Solid knowledge on different types of visualization
- MS excel
- Basic Statistics
- Good communication skills
