Apple is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for the Strategic EPM team. This role involves managing system-level products such as Mac, iPhone, iPad, Watch, Audio, Home, and Accessories. Responsibilities include post-ramp qualifications, new technology trials, MLB/FATP site qualifications for shipping products, and driving EPM efforts for products in development. The EPM will align cross-functional engineering resources, formulate and execute company priorities, and resolve engineering issues from mass production and field returns. They will also identify, evaluate, and drive activities, communicating risks, priorities, and schedules effectively. Partnership with NPI EPM groups for next-generation product developments in the post-proto phase is also a key aspect. The ideal candidate will respond quickly to changes, work with skilled engineering teams to mitigate risks, and possess an in-depth understanding of development and manufacturing processes. An engineering degree and experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments are required.

As an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) role in the Strategic EPM team, you will be responsible for the system level products (products included but not limited to: Mac, iPhone, iPad, Watch, Audio, Home, Accessories in the following areas: - Post-ramp qualifications and new technology trials on current shipping product platforms - MLB/FATP site qualifications for shipping products - Drive as EPM for products in development
This hands-on EPM role focus on driving and aligning cross-functional engineering resources. Help formulate, follow and execute company’s priority with respect to the above specified areas Work with cross-functional team DRIs and china OEM/CM teams to resolve engineering issues seen from mass production and field returns. Identify, evaluate, and drive various activities while clearly communicating the risks, priorities and schedules to cross-functional and management team. Involve in partnering with NPI EPM group in next generation product developments in post-proto phase. Capability - Respond quickly and effectively, to changes to the overall goals, schedule, and/or architecture - Work with highly skilled cross-functional engineering teams to identify risks, explore solutions, reach consensus and execute mitigations as quickly and efficiently as possible - Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks, and able to filter and distill relevant information for the targeted audience - Requires an in-depth understanding of development and manufacturing process - Requires to have an engineering degree and experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments
