What you’ll do:
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Ansible
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents
- Monitor and manage the Prometheus monitoring system (configuration and alerting)
- Help manage Ceph storage infrastructure
- Develop and maintain Bash or Python scripts to automate routine tasks
- Assist managing Kubernetes clusters
What you need to succeed:
- Medium Python/Bash scripting abilities for infrastructure-related activities and automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools
- Experience working with version control systems, particularly Git
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in a team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with configuring and managing iptables
- An understanding of virtualization technologies(QEMU/KVM)
- Basic understanding of containerization principles and Docker experience
- Basic understanding of load balancing concepts and familiarity with Nginx
- Knowledge of basic database concepts and SQL querying skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently analyze and resolve basic issues
