Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager II at Google Cloud's Finance Operations, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include working cross-functionally with a global team to implement and deploy Enterprise Finance solutions, driving best practice improvements for data integrity and user experience, and planning project delivery using various methodologies. You will design communication plans, establish operational measurement frameworks, and execute long-term strategies. This role requires strong technical expertise, experience with cloud computing and enterprise finance solutions, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the company.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program management experience
  • Experience with cloud computing & enterprise finance solutions
  • Cross-functional project management
  • Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
  • 5+ years program management experience in cloud computing
  • Experience managing cross-functional/cross-team projects
  • Experience with distributed teams
  • Knowledge of FinOps/Cloud-Cost-Management

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience working with cloud computing emerging technologies, enterprise finance solutions, or related technical fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in program management of cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working across a distributed, and highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
  • Knowledge of FinOps/Cloud-Cost-Management.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with a global geographically distributed team to understand, implement and deploy Enterprise Finance solutions.
  • Drive best practice improvements for both system and process to achieve data integrity, data transparency and delightful user experience.
  • Support the team with all required elements of project planning and delivery, using your knowledge of project methodologies including tools and techniques.
  • Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key stakeholder communications.
  • Establish an operations measurement framework also develop and execute a long term strategy.
