Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager II at Google Cloud Security, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include guiding cross-functional teams, aligning them with existing processes, prioritizing requirements, managing competing priorities, documenting project dependencies, and building strong stakeholder relationships. You'll communicate project progress and risks effectively, automating reporting where possible. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, along with at least 2 years of program management experience in technical infrastructure or security. Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with Network Reliability is preferred. The role involves working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly across the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Guide work with cross-functional execution teams, aligning these teams to existing portfolio artifacts and processes while initializing program management structure, governance, and artifacts to support execution.
  • Assist teams to prioritize requirements and identify and drive execution of deliverables, and manage competing priorities.
  • Document critical path and dependencies per project and across programs, keeping critical path and dependency artifacts refreshed.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with partners and key stakeholders through designed and developed communication channels aiming towards alignment as priorities change.
  • Ability to extract and communicate execution progress and risks and automate where possible into reporting.
