Job Description

As a Software Engineer on the Identity Platform team at Gojek, you will design, build, and improve login and verification experiences for a rapidly growing mobile app. You'll collaborate with product management and backend engineering teams to define and execute the feature roadmap, building robust APIs. Your responsibilities include managing stakeholder communication, working effectively in a global environment, and ensuring millions of users have a secure and seamless login experience. You'll be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, prioritizing, estimation, and execution of releases. Proficiency in Go, Java, or Ruby is essential, alongside experience with OOP, SQL, design patterns, and relational databases. Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD are also crucial.

Must have:

2-3 years experience in software development
Proficient in Go/Java/Ruby or OOPL
Experience with OOP, SQL, Design Patterns
Agile, TDD, CI/CD experience
Data modeling in Relational databases
Ability to design, build and deploy applications

What You Will Do

Design, build and improve the login & verification experiences for one of the world's fastest growing mobile app in ride-hailing, payments and logistics
Partner with the product management team and other cross-functional teams to define and execute the feature road map and back end engineering teams to build robust, well-designed API contracts
Proactively manage stakeholders communication related to deliverables, risks, changes, and dependencies
Communicate, collaborate and work effectively across cross-functional teams in a global environment.

What You Will Need

At least 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying applications on Go-Lang, Java, Ruby or OOPL large-scale applications
Proficient in OOP, SQL, Design Patterns Data modeling experience in Relational databases
Well-versed with Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD
Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate and execute releases with a good degree of predictability
Ability to scope, review and refine user stories for technical completeness and to alleviate risks
Ability to write ADRs, RFCs and actively participate in the planning phase
Ability to write model code for functional and nonfunctional requirements and help improve the code quality standard across the team
