developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped
develop a number of AAA titles and we launched the highly anticipated
game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced VFX Artist to join our team and help us bring our gameplay and levels to life with high-quality visual flair.
You will work closely with all departments to ensure that the quality and performance goals are met and be a part of a highly motivated and talented team. As a VFX artist at Fatshark, you are driven, curious, creative and flexible to meet deadlines.

Create materials and real-time visual effects for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
Bring life and excitement to the game through your design and implementation of compelling realistic visual effects
Coordinate with Art, Sound, Level & Game Design to ensure VFX match the quality bar and vision for the game
Author appropriate textures, models and other assets for brining VFX in the game to life
Design, take ownership and maintain interdisciplinary VFX systems, such as material hit effects and more
Help to improve technical pipelines and VFX creation techniques/tools
More than 3 years of work experience within real-time Visual Effects
A keen graphical eye with a sense for details and timing
Strong understanding of particle systems
Game engine experience in Unreal, Unity or similar
Team player with strong communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
Versatility, independence and a sense of initiative
Experience in Houdini, Embergen or similar software
Experience with non node graph based shader authoring
Shipped at least 1 AAA or equivalent game
Development of cooperative games
A background in gaming
Strong Warhammer interest
We are following the policy of working 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day option to work from home. The onboarding is being done fully in the office.
