- Identify and resolve quality issues and bottlenecks throughout all stages of game development, from concept to post-launch
Process Management:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, performance, regression, and user experience testing
- Develop and maintain testing processes to ensure efficient bug tracking, reporting, and resolution
- Implement automated testing solutions to improve efficiency, test coverage, and reliability.
- Manage external QA resources as needed, ensuring their integration into the development pipeline
Quality Assurance Execution:
- Create, document, and prioritise bugs and issues using industry-standard tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
- Writing and ensuring thorough execution of test cases, identifying potential risks and providing insights for improving game quality.
- Conduct performance, compatibility, and scalability testing across multiple hardware configurations and environments.
Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify risks related to game quality, performance, and release schedules, and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Troubleshoot complex QA-related challenges, ensuring quick resolution of critical issues.
- Support post-launch QA activities, including patches, updates, and ongoing quality improvements.
