With this position we offer:
Join Nasdaq’s Audit organization and lead teams of talented Audit professionals in the United States, Canada, India and Lithuania. This is a critical role that will lead and oversee the audit of Nasdaq's technology functions, such as Security, Architecture, Software Development, Networking, Cloud, and Infrastructure and Operations. You will also be part of Nasdaq's Audit Leadership Team and collaborate with other senior leaders across the organization.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Vice President leading our global technology audit function, you will be responsible for developing, planning and executing technical audit projects to evaluate processes, systems, internal controls, risk management and governance across the organization, ensuring effectiveness, industry best practices and company and regulatory requirements. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong technical knowledge and experience in auditing technology functions, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. You will also need to have a strategic mindset and a continuous improvement orientation, as well as a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Furthermore, you will:
- Determining the Audit Plan for appropriate Global Technology Audit Universe coverage on an annual basis
- Executing and reporting on the design and operating effectiveness of controls
- Delivering against multiple and often times concurrent projects, managing conflicting priorities to achieve results on time
- Planning, determining scope areas and performing audit procedures in specific technology areas
- Providing input to auditees for solutions to address audit findings
- Reporting audit findings by writing the internal audit report that summarizes the outcome of reviews , ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory standards
- Utilizing automated audit tools as an integrating part of audit planning and execution.
- Participate in technology audits, technology project reviews, and technology audit work in audits of business processes to identify and evaluate key operational risks and controls.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key technology and business stakeholders
We expect you to have:
- Overall 20+yrs of work experience with 15+ years of risk-focused internal audit or related experience.
- Experience in audits of IT processes (such as information security, application development, IT governance), IT infrastructure (databases, networks, and operating systems) and Cloud based audits
- Understanding technology risk management principles and standards like COBIT, ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Fluent English language skills and a strong customer service mindset
- Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or eqvivalent.
It would be great if you
- Professional auditing certifications preferred: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional
