3D ARTIST INTERN
What You'll Do
We are looking for a 3D Artist Intern to join us on the Quixel Production Team. As part of this team, you will join the efforts to process, optimize and release Megascans content on FAB.
In this role, you will
- 3D Processing of Photogrammetry assets, from raw scan to final product
- Learn about the foundation of Megascans and how the library works
- Learn the ropes around Epic Games’ ecosystem
What we're looking for
- Knowledge of sculpting and working with complex inorganic assets in Zbrush
- Understanding of general 3D processing techniques (low poly creation, UVs, LODS)
- Understanding of modern texturing techniques (Adobe 3D Painter, Designer)
- Knowledge of PBR rendering
- Knowledge of rendering props in UE5
- Eye for detail, understanding of art principles
- Good to have: Demonstration of photogrammetry knowledge in portfolio and/or d emonstration of environment art knowledge in portfolio
This internship has a flexible start date in 2025. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
