Next-Generation Game Background Modeling

Smilegate Entertainment is seeking an experienced Background Modeler to contribute to the development of their next-generation game. Responsibilities include creating high-quality 3D models and textures for environments, objects, and buildings using Unreal Engine 5. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in background modeling, proficiency in various 3D modeling tools (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, ZBrush), and a strong understanding of PBR texturing. Experience with lighting, optimization, and performance tuning is essential. The role involves designing and implementing game backgrounds for a global audience. This is a full-time position based in Seongnam, South Korea.
