Job Description

As an Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, Commerce at Google Customer Solutions, you'll develop and execute integrated, cross-platform advertising strategies for businesses. You'll manage a portfolio of clients, understanding their growth drivers and identifying opportunities. Responsibilities include building relationships with C-level executives, optimizing advertising investments, and achieving sales quotas. You'll collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions, proactively coach peers, and generate business plans to meet client needs and drive growth. Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential for engaging with local stakeholders in Brazil.

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
  • Experience influencing or selling to C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics, product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to strategically assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, engaged selling.
  • Excellent thought leadership skills within the digital marketing space, and ability to achieve quotas to drive growth.

As an Account Executive, you will help to provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. You will be responsible to drive and grow new business with Google’s advertisers. You will manage business relationships to ensure that clients needs and requirements are met. You will serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options. You will understand and anticipate how decisions are made, and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of our key clients.

Responsibilities

  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
  • Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunity for growth, managing risks and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer sales experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Coach peers proactively in the organization to create skill lift, that drives client growth and contributes to overall team success.
  • Generate business plans by collaborating with specialists and Product teams and defining business goals, key strategies and success metrics.
