Job Description

As an Account Manager, Agency, Large Customer Sales at Google, you'll consult with businesses to enhance their digital marketing strategies, particularly leveraging Google's advertising solutions. You will collaborate with agency partners to develop marketing solutions and lead business projects involving internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, promoting upstream marketing processes, leading discussions with agencies, supporting pitches to strategic clients, and contributing to the growth of Google's products. You'll need strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, plus experience in digital marketing and online ad sales. The role involves working with large advertisers and agencies to craft digital solutions that build brands and businesses, offering a unique perspective on the evolution of advertising in the digital age.
Must have:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a digital marketing role or a similar role within the advertising industry or client side.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in online ad sales, business-development, marketing or consulting sales.
  • Experience with Google Ads account management.
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure and show dedication to client services.
  • Excellent communication, people management and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills.

As an Account Manager, you will play the role of a consultant providing solutions to improve the business of your assigned clients or solve their business challenges. You will use your marketing skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills to make recommendations to the clients on how they can develop their business by making better use of digital, especially in marketing, thereby becoming a trusted partner and contributing to the client's success. You will learn Google's products in a timely manner, and understand digital marketing, to utilize it in the business activity.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Agency partners to help them form marketing solutions. Promote upstream marketing and communication planning processes for their strategic brands leveraging Google's digital capabilities.
  • Lead and manage business projects associated with both internal and external stakeholders (i.e, cross-functional teams, Large Customer Sales pods, and agencies’ Account Management, Planning, and Creative divisions).
  • Lead discussions with agencies and support their pitches to strategic clients.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with Agencies, contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google’s products and services.
