This Account Executive role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on mid-market sales within the MENA region. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious quarterly growth targets, managing a portfolio of businesses, proactively pitching and consulting with clients, driving customer growth through exceptional sales experiences, and establishing credibility with executives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in Arabic and English, experience in advertising or media sales, and a proven track record of achieving sales goals. The role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, the ability to build compelling narratives, and expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns focused on performance marketing. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans for achievement.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of advertising/sales experience or 3 years with advanced degree
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Manage client portfolio effectively
  • Consult and pitch to clients
  • Drive customer growth and achieve marketing objectives
Good to have:
  • Experience assessing and achieving client success
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics
  • Experience in MENA advertising sales
  • Ability to build compelling narratives
  • Expertise in performance marketing campaigns

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English fluently to support client relationships in the region.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and competitive selling.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and consistently achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth targets.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large-size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
