Job Description

This Account Executive role at Google focuses on acquiring high-potential advertisers and integrating Google's marketing products (YouTube, Google Ads, Google Display Network) into their strategies. Responsibilities include building C-level client relationships, understanding business challenges and marketing objectives, developing joint strategies, achieving growth goals, presenting Google advertising solutions, conducting data-driven analyses, and prospecting for new business. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, along with experience in advertising sales or business development. Collaboration with internal teams, such as Sales Development, Onboarding, and Marketing is essential for success. The role involves working with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to help them grow using Google's advertising solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years full life-cycle sales experience
  • Fluent in English and French

  • Advertising/consultative sales experience
  • Digital advertising sales experience

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in full life-cycle sales.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development.
  • Experience working in the digital advertising sales industry.
  • Experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners.
  • Experience building a book of business and securing new customers while hitting goals.

Google’s New Business Sales team is a group of professionals whose focus is on engaging and obtaining high potential advertisers, and subsequently persuading them to incorporate Google's range of marketing products (YouTube, Google Ads and the Google Display Network) into their current marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive understanding of business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success. 
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by proactively identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.
