Position Overview
Tencent Cloud is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Strategic Sales Manager who would be based in Paris, France. The chosen candidate will be tasked with creating and handling Tencent Cloud's strategic enterprise accounts in Europe, especially in France. Key sectors include fashion/retail, automotives, pharmaceuticals, telcos, video gaming, etc. Many such target companies are Fortune 500/1000 industry leaders.
Through a strategic approach, this individual will establish sales priorities and action plans, cultivate valuable relationships with key stakeholders of target companies and deliver/surpass cloud sales targets. With support of the broader team, the individual is to articulate Tencent's strength in delivering digital use experience, innovative technology such as SuperApp, artificial intelligence, low-latency media services, to key stakeholders of target companies.
Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic solution-based sales opportunities
Develop and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders
Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on large digital native accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral
Partner with the Legal/FIN/Tax teams on contract negotiations
Achieve/exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential
Preparation and execution of strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting and quota attainment
Be an expert on Tencent’s cloud's digital native offerings, working to understand customers' needs and providing service solutions
Develop strategic plans based on industry trending and customer analysis
Accountable and instrumental in increasing high-profile cloud platform contracts
Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team in delivering and ensuring customers are gaining high value from their investments
Manage sales life-cycle for all accounts
5+ years B2B sales experience in the technology/telecommunication/media sector
Exhibits a “hunter” mentality: hightly-motivated self-starter and result-oriented
Outstanding presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with customer and staff at all levels
Ability to solve customer-related problems in a positive manner
Strong in consultative and insight-based selling at executive levels
Experience articulating complex solutions to decision-makers and executives
Proven ability to grow revenue and manage complex accounts
Good team player who can collaborate well within virtual / remote teams
Experience analyzing data, trends and the market to develop key selling points
Fluency in English and French
Spoken/Written Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not a must
Experience with cloud industry is a major plus
Experience in enterprise sales towards relevant industries (fashion / retail / telco / advanced manufacturing, etc.) is a plus
