This Account Manager role focuses on the Nordics retail market within Northern Europe. Responsibilities include meeting quarterly business and product growth goals, driving customer growth through exceptional sales experiences, and managing a portfolio of complex businesses. The role requires understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans. Proactive pitching and consulting with clients on marketing discussions and budgets are key, along with managing internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in Swedish and English is essential for effective client relationship management. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales skills, online marketing knowledge, and experience in digital advertising campaigns.
Must have:

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including questioning, objection handling and engaged selling.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics and expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance and brand marketing.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilise storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Own a portfolio of complex businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying constant opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Manage stakeholder management internally and externally, and build relationships with the end customers.
