Job Description

This role is for a Mid-Market Sales Account Strategist at Google, requiring fluency in Swedish and English. Responsibilities include building and managing client relationships, understanding their business challenges and marketing objectives, working with internal and external stakeholders, achieving business growth goals by presenting Google advertising solutions, and developing data-driven analyses and recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of online media and Google Advertising products. The role involves working with clients to develop transformative media strategies for growth, driving incremental business generation agreements, and ensuring project completion on time.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Client relationship management
  • Data-driven analysis & recommendations
  • Google Ads product knowledge
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in a matrixed organization
  • Digital marketing campaign management

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.

Mid-Market Sales (MMS) Account Strategists are sellers who serve as advocates of Google. Using an understanding of clients’ business goals, Account Strategists improve campaign performance, drive thoughtful Google product adoption, and build short- and medium-term strategies to meet business and marketing objectives.

In this role, you will use your knowledge of online media combined with communication skills and problem-solving abilities enable you to design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. You will use your influencing and relationship-building skills, to provide excellent solution promoting, partnership management, and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. You will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve objectives while driving incremental business generation agreements through industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
