Job Details
In this role, you will:
- Manage the full accounts payable cycleincluding : invoice coding, manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, verify expense reports, data entry into accounting system and issue payments;
- Prepare and manage the payroll for both entities, produce payroll journal entriesand various month-end reports, reconcile all discrepancies;
- Prepare the bank reconciliation and month-end journal entries (prepaids, depreciation, accruals);
- Prepare and submit the VAT reports to UK and Netherlands governments;
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and respected;
- Provide administrative support to the finance and other departments;
- Provide all the documents for the year-end audit of the head quarter in Canada.
What we're looking for:
- College diploma in accounting or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or similar roles within a medium or large company
- Good knowledge of accounting rules in UK and ideally Netherlands
- Knowledge of IFRS will be considered an important asset
- Strong knowledge of computer tools, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP F&O Microsoft will be considered an important asset
- Good organizational and work management skills
- Fluency in English is required, German language skills are a plus
