The  Opportunity

• Assist in managing the content strategy and editorial calendar for US sports coverage,  with a focus on hockey and the NHL.
  

• Coordinate with writers, editors, and contributors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content across various platforms, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
  

• Help ideate and execute creative content initiatives to engage and grow our audience base.
  

• Monitor analytics and metrics with the SEO team to evaluate content performance and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  

• Collaborate with the social media team to promote content and engage with the audience on relevant platforms.
  

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content decisions and strategies.
  
  

Requirements

• Prior work experience in content management services, or coming from an editorial background preferred.
  

• Thorough knowledge of the US sports industry, including but not restricted to major leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLB.
  

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to deliver high-quality content.
  

• Familiarity with content management systems and tools for tracking and analyzing content performance.
  

• A passion for sports and a commitment to delivering engaging and informative content to our audience.
