About the job

About The Role

  • As a Digital Learning Designer you will join our HR Services team and act as the extended arm of the Learning and Development Center of Excellence (L&D COE).
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with internal subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, digital learning media. This includes managing the entire process from mockups, storyboarding and instructional design to production, testing, and rollout. You will also handle translations, collect and review feedback, and implement improvements and updates. Proficiency in Articulate and other content authoring tools is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital learning design and development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences, and is open to experimenting with new tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Collaborate with the L&D COE and internal subject matter experts to design, develop and maintain engaging and effective digital learning media including eLearnings, videos, emails, newsletters, social media posts, internal communications, websites, and other marketing and promotional collaterals
  • Manage the entire content development process, including mockups, storyboarding, instructional design, production, and testing.
  • Coordinate the rollout of learning campaigns and eLearning modules in collaboration with the L&D COE, ensuring smooth implementation and accessibility.
  • Drive awareness campaigns through different communication channels to ensure BC employees are familiar with the learning offering.
  • Handle the translation of learning content to meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
  • Gather and review feedback and performance data from learners and stakeholders to continually enhance the effectiveness of learning media and its comms channels.
  • Ensure the learning media stays up-to-date, relevant, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Work closely with the L&D COE to align digital learning initiatives with broader learning and development goals as well as with global standards and processes.
  • Utilize Articulate, other content authoring tools, and AI effectively, responsibly and compliant to create high-quality learning content.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in learning media design & development, content creation tools and learning technologies.

About You

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Educational Sciences, Multimedia Design, Digital Marketing, or similar
  • Fluent in English – verbal and written
  • Expertise in Instructional Design, Learning Media Design and Development
  • Experience with eLearning Project Management and Coordination
  • Attention to Detail, Quality and Accuracy
  • Tech-savvy and curious
  • Experience with Articulate, other content creation tools and Google Sites is a plus
