Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager leads by example, sets the tone for the store, and provides feedback to the store manager to improve the location's efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Responsibilities include creating a luxury experience for clients, achieving sales goals, supporting customer service, coaching employees, and handling outreach to clients. They also recruit, hire, and train new employees. This role is focused on maximizing store productivity and profitability and supporting the development of ideas to achieve sales and productivity goals.
Must have:
  • 3+ years in a lead or leadership role in retail.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with flexible work schedule.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Sales force is a plus.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to work with multiple tech devices, google drive and apple products.

About the Opportunity

In this role you will lead by example, set the tone for the store, and provide feedback to the store manager that will result in a more efficient, productive, and profitable location that exceeds FASHIONPHILE ONE service expectations. This role also requires a focus on maximizing store productivity and profitability and supporting the development of ideas to achieve sales and productivity goals.  You will report directly into the Store Manager and work closely with them to evaluate market information and create strategies that can impact store results.Responsibilities include: 

  • Creating and upholding best in class luxury experience for procuring goods from clients and assisting them with purchasing items. 
  • Achieving sales goals , conversion expectations, circularity, KPI’s and all service responsibilities. 
  • Supporting the sales floor coverage and any other call to action customer service duties that may arise. 
  • Coaching, training and upholding clienteling and outreach responsibilities including follow through on all assigned targeted outreach data list (BOPS, SF Scheduler, Online Geo targeted list). Build a personal repeat business of Fashionphile with client books, outreach and customer retention.
  • Attending HR training classes around employee conduct, harassment free workplace, attendance and timekeeping, giving/receiving feedback and corrective actions. Directly supporting managers with employee coaching, development and delivering 1:1 TB’s. 
  • Recruiting, hiring and training new employees and delegate work in lieu of store manager. 

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years in a lead or leadership role, working in a fast paced retail or customer service environment
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Comfortable with flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the business
  • Tech savvy with the ability to work with multiple tech devices, google drive and apple products. 
  • Knowledge of Sales force a plus

Pay Rate: This position begins at $21.00/HR - $28/HR based on experience for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE's Newport Beach location.  This role is also eligible for uncapped commission.
