Job Description

The Associate Client Executive - FindLaw develops and maintains client relationships to achieve retention and revenue goals within an assigned territory. This hybrid role involves proactive and reactive account management, partnership with Field Consultants, and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include driving account retention, effective communication, accurate forecasting, strategic planning, and fostering strong customer relationships. The position requires a focus on customer care and accountability for outcomes.
Must have:
  • Achieve monthly retention and renewal targets.
  • Develop and execute strategy to retain client base and associated revenue.
  • Provide high level of customer care by cultivating client relationships.
  • Manage time and responsibilities, prioritizing outreach cadence to customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date renewal forecast using business system logging.
  • Involved in strategic planning to execute business objectives and problem solve.
  • May train or mentor colleagues.
  • Understand customer's needs, requirements, and priorities.
  • Communicate information effectively, check for understanding, provide account recommendations.
  • Respond to non-standard requests from customers, investigate with assistance.
  • Act as primary internal point of contact for assigned accounts, establish strong relationships.

Description

The Associate Client Executive - FindLaw is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing client relationships in order to achieve client and revenue retention goals within an assigned territory or team. This will be done by proactive and reactive management for each assigned account, close partnership with Field Consultants, and working cross functionally with all areas of FindLaw departments that support our business. The position is Hybrid and will be based out of Eagan, MN; Carrollton, TX; or Ann Arbor, MI.

In this opportunity as Associate Client Executive, FindLaw, you will:

Drive Results for Account Retention and Revenue

  • Achieve monthly retention and renewal targets
  • Develop and execute on strategy to retain assigned client base and associated revenue; assist with renewal portfolio growth
  • Provide a high level of customer care for all clients through cultivating, maintaining and growing client relationships

Communicate and Collaborate

  • Responsible for managing time and responsibilities, and prioritizing as-needed by following set outreach cadence to customers within the renewal window
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date renewal forecast using business system logging requirements and proper documentation
  • Involved in strategic planning to execute on business objectives, and able to problem solve
  • May train or mentor colleagues

Customer Focus (Relationships - Internal/External)

  • Strong understanding of the customer's needs/requirements and priorities
  • Communicates information effectively, checks for understanding, provides account recommendations to drive retention and growth strategies
  • Responds to non-standard requests from customers; investigates with assistance from others as needed
  • Acts as the primary, internal point of contact for assigned accounts and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners/stakeholders

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Client Executive, High Value Accounts, FindLaw, if your background includes:

  • Previous FindLaw client management experience and a four-year degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years client management and/or sales and marketing experience
  • Proven success with retention of client population and associated revenue
  • Well-developed negotiation skills and ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially via telephone, required
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Ownership mindset with high accountability to customer outcomes
  • An understanding of digital marketing concepts and processes preferred An understanding and/or experience working with the legal industry preferred
