Accounts Payable Specialist

Los Angeles-based Internet Brands is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This position will report to the Account Payable Manager and have broad exposure working on many different tasks for a dynamic and growing Company.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with the month-end closing process.
• Uses popular accounts payable software.
• Is part of a team to record all accounts payable transactions.
• Investigates accounts payable issues as needed.
• Builds relationships with vendors and other departments.
• Assists in training new accounts payable staff.
• Assists in onboarding new accounts payable staff.
• Ensures payments are made accurately and on time.
• Helps in developing accounts payable processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or economics, preferred.
• 1 - 2 years of AP experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (GP) a plus.
• Experience with T&E processing and reporting a plus.
• Strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Self-starter and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

We expect the compensation for this role to start at $41,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
