Job Description

The Opportunity: 

The Associate Manager, Employee Policy, will play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving employee policies that align with company culture, values, and legal requirements. This individual will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws while fostering a positive employee experience. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on policy implementation, and monitoring workplace trends to support an inclusive, equitable, and thriving work environment.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

•    Develop, update, and maintain employee policies, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local laws, as well as organizational culture and business objectives.
•    Ensure the reporting for federal, state and local laws, such as: EEO-1, VETS-4212, Pay Data, Affirmative Action Plans, among others.
•    Ensure the application of employment notices, on boarding and terminations are aligned with federal, state, and local laws.
•    Oversee U.S. Employee Handbook updates, and collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment, as appropriate.
•    Conduct regular audits of existing policies to ensure relevance, compliance, and effectiveness.
•    Draft clear, concise, and inclusive policy language that is accessible to employees across diverse roles.
•    Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations across the US, ensuring timely updates to company policies and practices.
•    Partner with employment legal counsel and P&C teams to identify and address policy gaps or needs.
•    Track and analyze policy-related data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
•    Manage and lead the Employee Policy and Compliance team.
 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

•    Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on policy development and compliance.
•    Demonstrated expertise in US employment laws and regulations.
•    Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations.
•    Strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment law compliance
•    Experience working for a global, matrixed organization
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Can easily establish credibility and build solid working relationships across all levels of the organization
•    Full proficiency in MS Office


The annual base salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $130,000 
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
