Elevation is re-establishing the boundaries of VR. We’re looking for a talented Associate Producer to help us explore, create, and deliver world leading innovation in software and VR hardware.
As Associate Producer, you will be responsible for helping us to plan, prioritize, track, and ultimately deliver the game’s features and systems. You will work with a diverse team of artists, coders, and designers, supporting them to work efficiently on their day-to-day tasks. You will be working with the Production function to enable the team to be the best they can be.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with teams from Art, Code and Design across Studio Elevation.
Participate in the creation and tracking of delivery schedules for game features and content.
Facilitate team task management, maintain backlogs, and track sprint status.
Motivate and support your teams to promote a positive, collaborative work environment and help them achieve project goals.
Assist/ run sprint ceremonies including stand-ups and retrospectives. Follow up on action items and assist in removing blockers to team progress.
Schedule and attend meetings, take concise and comprehensive notes, and distribute to appropriate team members and stakeholders
Work with other Producers to track project status and identify risks and opportunities.
Contribute to a positive and constructive work environment.
Maintain relevant team documentation.
Help with ancillary planning tasks.
Requirements
Essential capabilities:
A year or more of experience in a game development environment in any discipline.
Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and succinctly with your team and stakeholders.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive towards clarity as a strong, collaborative problem solver.
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana or Hansoft.
An interest in video games and video game development.
Desired experience:
Knowledge of Unreal engine
Knowledge of software development and project management, including agile frameworks.
